ARPEDIO Welcomes New Service Delivery Director

Our team is continuously growing, and the latest addition to the ARPEDIO family is Paul!

Paul is already a familiar face within ARPEDIO: a couple of years back, Paul worked as Product Manager at ARPEDIO, contributing to make our software solutions even more awesome. And now – after several years ‘abroad’ – he has returned to our Consulting team, and we’re delighted to have him back.

Paul had his first day in the office on November 1st and has already taken on many new projects, ensuring a safe delivery with a focus on fast impact.

For you to get to know him a little bit better, we have asked Paul to introduce himself and share his thoughts on (re)joining ARPEDIO.

Let’s start out with a short introduction – can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your professional background?

For more than 30 years, I have been engaged in projects to enable business by IT applications, across a variety of roles: System Specialist, Integration Architect, Advisor, Project Manager and Program Manager. I have been an external Management Consultant for clients in Scandinavia and UK as well as internal Project/Program Manager for multinational corporations like Lundbeck and Ramboll. In addition, I have been an IT Line Manager responsible for IT application roadmaps and application support at Lundbeck and Toms.

I focus on what the business needs in order to change, and how to make the change stick: it is important for me to understand the users’ perspectives and the context a new solution must fit into.

Privately, I live in Rodovre, Denmark, with my wife, Helle, and Buster, our Golden Retriever. Our two grown-up kids have moved out several years ago, and from 2020 I am also a proud grandfather to my son’s baby girl. I love anything outdoors, in particular on two wheels: road biking, mountain biking and MC driving.

Can you elaborate on the decision to (re)join ARPEDIO and what opportunities you see for ARPEDIO going forward?

Back in 2015/2016 I spent one year working at ARPEDIO as Product Manager for our Salesforce apps, and I am happy to return to ARPEDIO in a new role.

After delivering the first phases of a transformation program in Ramboll, I was looking for a new challenge, preferably in a smaller team and more directly involved in solving business problems for clients.

I have been following ARPEDIO’s journey from the sideline in recent years, and I believe that combining app development with business consulting will be attractive to many clients in the Salesforce arena. We are helping clients digitize their marketing, sales and customer service with a clear focus on designing effective processes and tools that users will actually use. For some clients this includes both our apps and business consulting, while for other clients it is one or the other.

Consulting is still relatively new to us, and I believe I can make a difference in ensuring that we deliver projects successfully in terms of both speed and quality.

Any last thoughts you want to share with our readers?

Building trust is my primary objective. I do this by sharing both successes and failures, keeping promises and parking my self-interest. I am known for my ability to execute, my empathy, being open to new input, keeping a cool head when the going gets tough and appreciating a good laugh.

I am looking forward to working closely with both existing and new clients.
