What exactly is it you do for ARPEDIO?

I’m a Salesforce developer working on supporting and developing new features in the ARPEDIO sales enablement solutions that ARPEDIO have developed within Salesforce.

How did you end up working for a Danish-based SaaS company?

I’m actually employed by a company called Obvious People, and they were the ones who recommended me to join this project with ARPEDIO. My last project was in Spain and I was really interested in getting the chance to experience the Danish culture within an international company, so of course I said yes, though I currently work remotely from the Netherlands. Also, this was an interesting chance for me to be a part of an exciting growth journey with a great software solution.

What did you do before you were onboarded?

Before moving to the Netherlands (where I am based) I lived all my life in Argentina. I have worked as a Salesforce Developer for the past four years and I moved to Europe looking for new opportunities and the chance to get to know different cultures.

What is a typical day like for you?

Breakfast with my wife, reading the news, and turning on the computer. The development team and I have our daily meeting in the morning where we share our progress, see if anyone needs help, and crack a joke or two. After the daily meeting, I spend most of my time designing and coding features for our apps – and jumping in and out of meetings with the rest of the team to align our work. Thanks to the internet and the ongoing dialogue that we keep up through the day, I feel like I’m with my colleagues even though I’m actually 800km away.

What are your interests when you are not working?

Music (heavy metal, mostly), movies and books (I’m a big fan of the sci-fi genre), and with the restrictions in place and all the museums being closed, I take long walks and bike rides and get to know the cities nearby.

Tell us something that most of your colleagues don’t know about you

Mmmm, I don’t think so – perhaps that I love stroopwafels!
