Meet an Arpedian: Niclas Allentoft Jørgensen

What did you do before you joined Arpedio?

Before I started at Arpedio, I spent almost 3 years working for Demant. The last year and a half I spent helping Oticon Medical building their Salesforce solution. Oticon Medical is a global brand that delivers hearing implants for hearing impaired people across the globe. I wore many hats in those projects, everything from Project Manager to Tester. Building a platform from scratch and being part of the whole journey was an incredible experience.

What is a typical workday like for you?

There’s actually no typical day for me – it’s very different from day to day. There are times when I am deep into client projects and spend all of my time on one specific thing, other days I can be writing up quotes for new projects. So a normal day really depends on what is scheduled for the day. One thing for sure – my day almost always consists of a game of table football after lunch!

What has been your most challenging task as a Salesforce Consultant?

As I have not been with Arpedio for that long (yet), I’m sure my biggest challenges as a Salesforce Consultant is yet to come. From my first period here in Arpedio it has been all about getting used to being an external consultant and learning all the new ways of working. Really interesting to get to know my new colleagues and listen to all their great inputs.

What does it mean to be an ‘Arpedian’?

For me, to be an Arpedian means that you always have the backing of all your colleagues and you all benefit from each other. It means coming into the office Monday morning looking forward to seeing everyone again. Being an Aprdian really means working in a great atmosphere and having fun with your daily tasks.

Tell us something your colleagues don’t know about you

My colleagues probably don’t know that I had a time in my life where Triathlon took all my spare time and that ended out in me doing Half an Ironman and running +10 half marathons. (Yes I often dream of the days when running was that easy)
