How did you end up working for a Danish-based SaaS company?

I grew up in Munich but came to Copenhagen for my master’s studies in Management of Innovation and Business Development at CBS in Copenhagen. After having had some experience working with CRM in Banking and the Automotive industry in Germany, I always had the feeling that the CRMs I worked with didn’t help me to do my job better but were actually rather extra work for me. That’s why I became interested in Arpedio and the idea of enabling and empowering sales reps through Salesforce.

What is a typical work day like for you?

Client interaction is what I love in my job and what most of my typical workdays look like. Demonstrating our tools to companies and showing them how to implement their sales best practices through digital tools is what it is about. Currently, we are also having some internal planning for the upcoming conference of our Partner the Strategic Account Management Association that takes place in May.

Can you explain what it’s like to drive sales in a company that aims at strengthening sales for others?

Helping companies in their digital sales transformation is very interesting. In these times it is just a matter of time before companies realize what unused potential lies in digitization and especially in the CRM. Being part of this transition and driving it by strengthening sales for others is a big adventure.

What does it mean to be an ‘Arpedian’?

Being an Arpedian is being part of a family and a social community. I have never experienced such a nice working environment and made so many new friends in such a short time.

What are your interests when you’re not working?

I am a big fan of the football club FC Bayern München and I watch every game. Also, playing football with my friends in my free time is something I enjoy a lot. Besides that, traveling and experiencing different cultures is something I am really into. My last big vacation before the pandemic was to Machu Picchu in Peru. I can definitely recommend everyone to visit Peru one day.

Tell us something your colleagues doesn’t know about you?

Sometimes when my football club loses, I cry!
